Thanks to their flat design, they are ideal for attaching additional sensors such as speed switches, absolute encoders or a combination of these. In addition, there is the possibility of a redundant design with two identical scanning systems and evaluation electronics. The optical rotary encoders are attached directly onto the application shaft or to the application shaft by using a suitable adapter flange.
