The compact encoder system consists of a basic unit on the application shaft with additional function modules directly attached. The universal encoder system U-ONE(-SAFETY)-Compact replaces mechanical cam limit switches and mechanical overspeed switches with more precise electronic position switches and speed switches. The encoder system does not require distribution couplings, distribution gears or speed increasing gears. Components of the encoder system The U-ONE Compact encoder system consists of a basic unit with directly attached function modules – the ideal solution when continuing to make use of legacy copper cabling (e. g. at modernizations). The delivery is made as an already assembled device.
