Particularly robust incremental rotary encoder made of V4A stainless steel, extremely resistant to acids, alkalis and seawater
With durable, isolating hybrid ball bearings
Options: speed switch, fiber optic transmitter, liquid-tight stainless steel cable protection system
Description
The housing of the incremental rotary encoder series FG(HJ) INOX consists of seawater-resistant V4A stainless steel and is resistant to acids and alkalis. The encoders can be used permanently under the influence of aggressive media, e.g. in heavy industry or in the offshore sector.
Reliable
The incremental rotary encoders of the FG(HJ) INOX series work reliably even under extreme conditions and ensure high system availability. This avoids failures and downtimes.
Large bearings with high dynamic load rating
High shock and vibration resistance
Resistance to corrosive environments (e. g. acids and alkalis)
Shaft made of non-corroding steel
Saltwater-proof, wet areas in rolling mills
Safe
Embedded in an extremely robust, thick-walled housing made of V4A stainless steel, the modern electronics of the incremental rotary encoders are characterized by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
1 – 2048 pulses HTL / TTL
EMC cable glands
Hollow shaft devices with isolated bearings
Comfortable
The incremental rotary encoders of the FG(HJ) 40 series can be integrated into existing mounting situations and plc systems. Engineering support and a wide range of mechanical accessories ensure precise assembly, even in difficult mounting locations.
Generously dimensioned terminal box
