Electronic speed switch for monitoring overspeed / underspeed and standstill in extreme ambient conditions
Up to 4 programmable switches
Options: additional incremental output, up to 2 attachments
Description
The electronic speed switches (overspeed switches) of the EGS 40 series monitor up to four programmable speed ranges (overspeed, underspeed and standstill) with high switching accuracy even at low speeds. If one of the programmed speeds is exceeded or is too low, the respective switching output of the speed monitor switches. The speed switches thus contribute to system and personal protection.
The speed switches are mainly used on crane motors, in mining and in rolling mills.
Safe
The electronic speed switches (overspeed switches) of the EGS 40 series ensure reliable speed monitoring even under extreme ambient conditions.
Electrically insulated semi-conductor switches
Status monitoring of switching contacts
Internal system monitoring with diagnostics switch
Programmable switching points according to the direction of rotation
Broken wire detection
Overcurrent switch off
Reliable
The electronic speed switches (overspeed switches) of the EGS 40 series are characterized by a long service life and a very high level of availability.
High shock and vibration resistance
Robust, thick-walled housing
Large bearings with high dynamic load rating
Torque bracket with ball joints
Option: hollow shaft design with insulated hybrid bearings
Precise
The electronic speed switches (overspeed switches) of the EGS 40 series work without speed increasing gears and offer very high switching accuracy.
Wear-free electronic switching contacts
Shaft with feather key
