The JOKARI No.1-Cat is a stripper for PVC-insulated data cables (e.g. Cat 5, Cat 6, Cat6e, Cat 7 cables, twisted pair cables ) with a working range from 4.5 to 10 mm diameter. With the blades individually measured on side 1, the outer insulation can be perfectly deposited. Blade side 2 is then also used to score and remove the foil shielding. The stripping blades are finished with a high-quality titanium nitride coating. This increases the service life of the blades and also improves the cutting speed. Operating instructions of the No.1-Cat: 1. cable stripping: Release lock, insert cable into blade pair 1, close half-shells, rotate tool around cable with appropriate pressure, open tool and reposition, bend cable slightly and strip sheath to the rear. 2. stripping the foil shield: place braided shield to the rear and insert all shielded wire pairs into knife pair 2, score foil shield with tool, set tool down and bend foil with fingers, remove pair shield.
