Current source type: inverter 165 TIG DC Mains voltage: 230 V (+10% -15%) Phases: 1 Frequency: 50/60 Hz Fuse: 16 A (slow-blow) No-load voltage: 85 V Maximum output current: 165 A Power input ON duration 60/40 % (TIG/electrode): 4.4 kVA/6 kVA Usable in the temperature range: 0 – 40 °C Up slope/down slope: 0 – 20 secs. (on final value) Postpurge gas flow time: 0 – 25 secs Electrode welding: Adjustment range: 5 – 140 A Welding current ON duration 40 %: 140 A (25 V) TIG direct current welding: HF ignition: yes Adjustment range: 5 - 165 A Welding current ON time 50 %: 165 A (16.4 V) Protection class: IP 23 Insulation class: H Dimensions (HxLxW): 340x365x165 mm Weight: 12.7 kg Standards: EN 6097.4, IEC 974.1,S / EC labelling Brief description The inverter system INV165 is designed for use for TIG welding and for welding of coated rod electrodes. This system is characterised by its limited weight, small dimensions, high output rating and high reliability. Owing to the single-phase mains connection, this system also has extensive applications in the assembly field. Design:  Integrated cooling air duct with temperature-dependent fan control  Integrated, high current sockets installed on front  Front printed circuit board with digital current display  Integrated ignition device with pulse blocking throttle  Restriction of the mains voltage absorption; consequently, tripping of the mains fuse is avoided even with a high output rating (e.g. with long electric arcs under a high output current).
