Description

The A-Turn and F-Turn CNC slant bed lathes feature a one piece Meehanite slant bed with a low center of gravity and superior rigidity. The flex-resistant and shock-absorbing headstock is heat-treated and annealed twice. Reaching HRC53 hardness, they can take heavy cuts while maintaining accuracy. The heat exchanger for the electrical cabinet keeps the name brand components in the safe temperature range, extending their lifespan and reducing downtime. All models utilize the Fanuc 0i-TF CNC control with an 8.4” color LCD monitor, 400 sets of registered part program numbers and 640 m part program memory. The standard 4-bar coolant system is contained by the standard full enclosure and the 3-color warning light allows the user to keep an eye on the machine while on the other side of the shop. A-Turn • General purpose box way lathes with swings from 18” to 40” and centers up to 196” A-Turn SYM • Sub-spindle, Y axis, and/or live tooling F-Turn • High performance CNC lathe
