The manual vertical lathes know as V-Turn Con and V-Turn Con D series are designed for the turning of extremely large work pieces up to 157” in diameter. The deliberate, rigid machine design of the V-Turn Con series ensures long lasting accuracy. The manual tool turret is standard on all models in the series, as well as P5 precision table bearing and high quality HT300 cast iron.
These manual vertical lathes can handle workpieces up to 22,000 pounds and 79″ high. The 16 step gear stages offer maximum control. While 2 axis digital read out is included on all of these lathes, customer can choose to add up to 2 additional axes. Other optional add-ons include partial enclosure, oil/air cooler, horizontal tool carriage, and a minimum amount lubrication system.
With table speeds of 6.3 rpms on the 1250, 5-160 rpms on the 1600, 3.2-100 rpms on the 200, and 2-63 rpms on the 2600-4000D, this manual vertical lathe can be configured to meet your demands. The powerful motors feature 30, 40, or 50 horsepower on models 1250- 2600. The D models have 73 Hp paired with horizontal RAM 2 travel of 55-85″ and vertical RAM 2 travel of 39.4″ or 49″.
