Transfer deburring machines are highly automated systems with deburring modules that can be flexibly configured and that are theoretically unlimited in number. KADIA supplies operational systems with all necessary peripheral components (e.g. coolant system, hydraulic system and pneumatic equipment). Transfer deburring machines are used when ultra-short cycle times are required in high-volume production and are particularly suitable for machining cubic workpieces with complex contours, e.g. engine block crankcases and gearboxes.
Example machine:
* Deburring the surfaces, edges and bore cross holes of crankcases
* Wet machining with oil or emulsion
* The workpiece is circulated on a transport rail or carrier plate and is located and fixtured at the processing station
* The workpiece is advanced along the machining line by indexing conveyer or cyclic chain conveyor
* Type detection by data matrix code with interface to the production control system
* The spindle units are driven to their working position mechanically, pneumatically, hydraulically or electromechanically
