The titanium coating increases the service life of the diamond grit sustainably and reduces the so-called "Carbon diffusion" when grinding steel. The friction during grinding is reduced, thereby reducing total heat generation. In short, your advantage: longer service life with reduced heat generation. The newly developed diamond grinding wheel is covered with two different diamond grits. The coarse side makes it possible to correct the shape of the tool and repair possible damage to the cutting edge. The fine side is used for finishing the cutting edge and fine burnishing. For your information: The Kaindl looking through diamond grinding wheel (fine) is suited for the final sanding, the dressing of the finished cutting edge, not for sanding of tools.
