The completely sealed T9 blower unit is worn at the waist. It is designed to be as light as possible in order to reduce worker fatigue during lengthy spraying operations. The K80S series of respirators work by means of slight over pressure which is created inside the helmet by a flow of filtered air. A battery powered blower unit draws air through filters and sends it through a breathing tube to the inside of the helmet.
