This unit features unique characteristics to handle the tricky job of robot welding: Space-saving design fits this unit in tight space and can be positioned next to the robot booth. A powerful motor ensures proper exhaust of even the toughest welding applications. Equipped with a custom hood (optional) that fits the top opening of your robot booth (basic version), or draped with welding curtains (shown in picture gallery below), you can now enclose your robots for safe and efficient welding smoke exhaust. Several robot booths can be connected to this unit. The Filter: The filtration of the contaminated air is a 2-step process: The incoming air is first fed into a pre-filter, where the larger particles are captured. Following that, the main filter cleans the welding smoke down to a particle size of .3 micron. This guarantees you an effective cleaning of 99.9% of your captured welding smoke. The Exhaust: A 6″ diameter duct is used to capture your contaminated air. Customized welding hoods guarantee a snug fit over your robot-cell to capture all harmful contaminates. The Stability: 4 sturdy feet are made out of heavy metal with rubber underlining to give this unit a solid grip. Adjustable to accommodate uneven floors.
