Knitted wire mesh gasket strip bonded to an elastomeric environmental seal provides RFI / EMI shielding and a dust/moisture seal. The gasket can be made as continuous strip or fabricated into custom shape gaskets. This twin-seal design enables the gasket to be used as a component with and adhesive backing to aid assembly or to used as a permanent fixing method for enclosure door seals. Compression limiters can be incorporated into the gasket to prevent gasket damage during assembly and a choice of wire materials to meet galvanic corrosion compatibility. Knitted wire mesh gaskets provide a cost-effective solution to high shielding performance applications in the magnetic and electrical fields RFI / EMI and including EMP. Continuous lengths up to 10 metres long. Fabricated gaskets to drawing. Can be fitted with compression limit stops or collars. Easily assembled using the optional self-adhesive backing. A broad range of sizes available. A large range of materials to suit many RFI / EMI / EMP and climatic conditions including NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical).
