Kuhnke Technologies KUAX pneumatic timer has been designed for applications in need of accurate time delay control or pneumatic pressure signals. Pressure fluctuations don’t have any effect on its operation. The time delay is started by an air signal and controlled through a constant speed air motor and reduction gear. Once the delay is complete, the valve is actuated and an air signal is released by the gear. Both on-delayed or off-delayed connectable options are available for the timer.
In terms of pressure, the control circuit 12 has a range of 1.2 - 10 bar and power circuit 1 has a range of 0-10 bar. The ambient temperature range is between -10 °C to +60 °C. It uses non-lubricated, compressed air as an operating medium. On delayed, it provides a closing of 2 and off delayed a closing of 4. Across the respective time range, the setting time is infinite. The relative timing error is ±1% of end scale value, and setting accuracy is ±2%. The air consumption with 6 bar pressure at 12 is approximately 9 l/min (0 °C, 1013 mbar).
