Description

POP UP SEALED DRAIN UPPER FLOORS PRODUCT CODE: KV220B4 The KVCRP400/4”RD(U) is a sealed cleanroom floor drain gully which can be opened remotely or sealed immediately in the event of a requirement. This drain was designed specifically for the Pharmaceutical sector and is in use in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Singapore. The pneumatic cylinder is highly corrosive and acid resistant. When connected to the in-house air supply system each gully can be opened by a local rotary switch on the wall, or from a remote location. The opening can also be activated by connection to the sprinkler system by means of a sensor. It can be designed for use as a Firewater Containment / Chemical Spill Containment Drain, A Firewater / Chemical Spill Evacuation Drain and as a Cleaning Regime Aid. This version is designed for upper floors and is differentiated by having the air connection on the outside of the drain body. This family of products also includes KVCRP400/4”RD(U) , KVCRP400/6”RD(U). Customizable: Flow Rate, Invert Level, Outlet Connection, Side Inlets, Body Flanges, Loading and Stainless Grade. Grade 304 (1.4301) or 316 (1.4401) Stainless Steel to BS EN 10088 Strong Usable in both heavy and light duty areas Suitable for internal factory drainage in Pharmaceutical Factories and Laboratories. The drain is trapped internally with a Bell Trap for European projects. For American projects it is supplied with no internal trap and the MEP contract traps this externally using a P bend or S bend trap.
