Coated special-purpose electrode with an electrically non-conductive and water-repellent protective coating for underwater cutting of all steel grades. Suited for working underwater in the offshore industry, in harbor construction, shipbuilding and hydroelectric engineering. During processing, the electrode produces a high gas pressure due to the oxidation of coating raw materials, thus causing the molten base material to be driven out. This guarantees smooth and clean cuts. The molten and adhering base material can be removed easily with a chipping hammer.
