KLETTI food heating hoses can be protected against water jets from any angle and are also dust-tight. Thus, they are classified under IP65 according to DIN EN 60529. On request, we can also classify your heating hose under IP66. This means that the heating hose is also protected against strong jets of water from any angle. The heated hoses have a washable silicone outer jacket and end caps. The high-quality PTFE core has FDA approval. The operating temperature usually varies between 80°C to 100°C. The IP65-protected KLETTI heated hose is equipped with an RTD temperature sensor (Resistance Temperature Detector) such as the Pt-100 or a thermocouple, depending on your requirements. A hose can only be regulated with a temperature sensor; the PID control algorithm of the temperature controller ensures that the desired and previously set temperature is maintained. The controller receives an electronic signal from the temperature sensor to determine the current temperature of the hose. If the temperature of the heated hose is below the desired temperature, the controller supplies power to the hose and the temperature of the heated hose increases. If the target temperature is reached or exceeded, the sensor and the controller registers this and stops to supply any current to the heated hose.
