Description

The KOBOLD MESSRING Conductive Level Limit Switches of the NES series are commonly used for level monitoring and pump control of various conductive fluids. All parts are static, non-movable, offering safety when dealing with critical media featuring solid content, negligible density or high viscosity. These instruments utilize the conductive principle. Low AC voltage is introduced between the tank's conductive wall or the earth electrode (longest electrode) and a switching point electrode. In case the conductive medium gets in contact with electrodes, the negligible alternating current flows across the electrodes and the conductive medium towards the electrode relay. Then, the relay amplifies the current. The NE-104 type electrode relay is need for every signalling switching point, while the min/max controls require two switching point electrodes. Relay NE-304 operates as two single relays of the NE-104 type.
