The Hardness tester H10, designed to measure the hardness of individual filter rods, cigarettes and machine made cigars. The instrument is equipped with a hopper offering a capacity of approx. 250 samples. The samples are separated automatically from the hopper and precisely positioned to the measurement unit by a linear drive. The hardness of an individual sample can be determined on different positions along the sample axis. Different loading parameters including different stamps and anvils are available. After measurements the samples could be separated by a 2-way sorting device. The Hardness tester is controlled via touchscreen PC and offers USB port as well as Ethernet connection for fast and easy data transmission and handling. The H10 can be used to monitor production and for control of incoming goods. Special measurements are possible for R&D purposes.
