The main activities of the Laboratory for power electronics and electrical drives are different standard or specific developmental, research and type tests of: – rotating machines: motors and generators – power electronics devices – adjustable speed electrical power drive systems – power electronics embedded control systems. In cooperation with other laboratories of KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute laboratories, we offer environmental testing of various power electronics stated equipment using the available test facilities as test beds. Some of the examples: - noise level testing of main traction converter for electric multiple unit trains - temperature testing of railway level crossing half-barriers - temperature testing of main traction converter for diesel-electric multiple unit trains - temperature testing of transformer control cubicle for nuclear power plant - EMC testing of static converters - IP testing of static converters.
