Steel Structure - Exterior
The Automated High-Bay Container Storage is protected from the elements by a roof and side cladding. Storage is fully electrified and can be furnished with solar panels.
Steel Structure - Interior
The steel structure can be up to 14 containers high. It is designed and built to safely carry the required weight, comprising a welded structure of rack frames, gable ends, horizontal beams, driving profiles and bolts. Details of steel grades, surface treatments, etc are available upon request. All structures will conform to local building norms & regulations.
Stacker Crane
The automated stacker crane(s) run along the length of the storage. It picks and places containers in the correct storage locations through a fully automated operation. The stacker cranes are capable of handling all types of containers sizes from 10ft - 53ft. Storage locations are not defined by container size giving you complete flexibility of inventory management. Individual storage locations can contain combinations of similar sizes such as 1 x 40ft, 2 x 20ft or 4 x 10ft containers.
Truck Loading/Unloading Station
The fully automated truck loading/unloading station takes containers from incoming trucks and puts containers on outgoing trucks. The truck drivers are protected in booths while the container movement takes place.
Remote Operating Station
A Remote Operating Station (ROS) offers the option for human intervention should it be needed. The ROS is capable of controlling the truck handling crane(s), stacker crane(s), and offers direct access to cameras mounted on the cranes as standard with optional cameras in loading stations or the high-bay structure itself.
