For separation of material from conveying air at material outlet points in pneumatic conveying lines Cyclones use vortex separation to remove dust, fines, and particulates from the air stream in a pneumatic system. This method of separation is highly efficient for separating dense materials from lighter waste and has low maintenance requirements due to the lack of moving parts. The IC, SC, UC, and RC series of cyclones are designed as suction and outlet cyclones for pneumatic conveying and for separation of dust from air. The IC, SC, UC and RC range of cyclones can handle volumes up to 5,500 m³/h (3,300 cfm).
