For separation of material from conveying air at material outlet points in pneumatic conveying lines
Cyclones use vortex separation to remove dust, fines, and particulates from the air stream in a pneumatic system. This method of separation is highly efficient for separating dense materials from lighter waste and has low maintenance requirements due to the lack of moving parts.
The Kongskilde KM series of cyclones are designed for the separation of dust and particles from the air. The KM range of cyclones can handle volumes from 1000 m³/h (590 cfm) to 35000 m³/h (20000 cfm).
