Overview
In a continuous flow, slices or whole Oriental bales are gently loosened and evenly conditioned in the warm, moist process air in one single operation. The cylinder is equipped with an optimized pin-and-paddle combination for excellent loosening results and a co-current circulation air system, featuring dewpoint temperature control. A link-up to a Hauni TSV slicer and an intermediate metering weighbelt ensure an exceptionally constant tobacco flow to the cylinder and thereby a very even output moisture level in the conditioned tobacco. The TB-L is suitable for all types of strips, Oriental tobacco and sheet tobacco.
TB-L cylinder.
The FLEX option allows particularly gentle conditioning through lower tobacco temperatures starting at 50 °C with the benefits of hardly any change in colour and taste, and less wrinkled tobacco leaf.
Throughput: up to 13,000 kg/h
Features

Directly driven rollers for low noise emissions
FLEX option
The tobacco temperature is infinitely variable adjustable (50 – 75 °C).
The temperature and moisture content of the process air can be set independently of each other.
Additional air supply can be switched off for conventional processing.
