The C24-2 simultaneously measures CO and/or CO² in the gaseous phase of cigarette smoke. The CO / CO² Analyser C24-2 offers a wide selection of functions in a compact unit. When designing the instrument attention was paid to precision, reproducibility, speed and ease of operation. The result is a measuring device that requires minimum space, ensuring easy integration into existing laboratories. The specifications and the application possibilities comply with the requirements dictated by the standard regulation ISO 8454 (NDIR method). The unit can be used as a testing device according to ISO 9000ff. All Borgwaldt smoking and vaping machines are equipped with connectors for collecting the gaseous phase. The gaseous phase of all puffs in one smoking process is collected in a suitable gas collection bag connected to the CO / CO² Analyser C24-2. The CO / CO² Analyser C24 then automatically examines the gas sample to determine the CO² and CO content. Measurement is not continuous, but it is discretely controlled by the program. The measuring parameters and the process control are entered via an easy to use menu. Several measuring cells for individual carbon monoxide measurements on different quantification levels as well as combined CO and CO² measuring cells are available.
