Description

Based on the company’s wealth of experience with linear PET blow moulders, KOSME has developed the KSB 6R jointly with its parent company KRONES (Germany), which has been building rotary stretch blow moulders for over a decade. This rotary moulder, with the same production output for blow mould as the high-performance models from KRONES, fills the gap between the 4 cavity linear blow moulder from KOSME and the KRONES rotary moulder with 8 blowing stations. The aim was to develop a reliable, userfriendly machine with a high degree of flexibility and best value for money. Hencethe KSB 6R can produce bottles of between 0.1 l to 3.0 l with the greatest variety of preforms to be found on the market, up to a neck ring size of 43mm. Production of top quality PET bottles with reduced energy and air consumption. The especially energy-saving, patented modular oven is used to heat the preforms. As an option, the machine can be operated with an air recycling system, thus saving on the overall air consumption for the KSB 6R’s pneumatic system and the preblowing air for the bottles. Preforms and finished bottles pass through preform heating, the blowing process and bottle discharge on a single level. The machine does not require any deflection processes, and the number of transfers has been optimized to a minimum of six. First-rate access to all components in the machine interior ensures that mould changes are faster and simpler.
