The trailer?s superior level of specification boasts automatic and load-sensitive braking, a 10t commercial winch with fast mode, a hydraulic tailgate with pressure accumulator and our extremely robust chassis with state-of-the-art parabolic springs. The high-speed axles are designed for 80km/h speeds. Introduced at Agritechnica 2005, this new generation of ?Big Body®? tippers was a tremendous success from the very beginning. Big Body® 650 is the successor to our ?Samson? model, from which it retains the well-proven chassis with some refinement to a few details. The body, however, is a totally new design and was developed from innovative ideas and based on our in-depth expertise and extensive experience in trailer manufacturing. We listened to farmers and contractors, who shared their experience to create this innovative body. This offers a host of benefits, including curved sides and particularly slim tailgate linkages on either side of the body as well as an 8cm increase in internal width. The tailgate operating rams are fully retracted when the gate is in transport position and the pivot bearings are let in flush with the top frame to provide for unobstructed loading. The sides (4mm ST52 grade steel) and the floor are made from one piece. Turned on edge, the sheets offer maximum rigidity thanks to a minimum number of welds and cavities. With fewer stanchions required to provide the necessary strength, the design gains in stylish and light-weight appearance.
