THL 8 L mounts dump containers of up to 8 tonnes of weight. ?L? stands for pneumatic suspension, a system that offers a number of essential benefits. The chassis lowers automatically to mount/demount the container and eliminate the need for a hydraulic rear axle support system. The container is then mounted onto the lowered chassis at a shallower angle, with the two main rams operating more efficiently to deliver enormous lift powers. In addition, the pneumatic suspension system provides for an excellent ride even in rough terrain. THL 8 L will typically attach to a regular 7.5t truck or UNIMOG and operate in construction, landscaping and municipal applications. With the focus on an extremely light dead weight, the trailer was built to provide a massive payload of 6.5 tonnes to handle City roll-off containers of up to 4.5m in length. Hook height is 90cm and a hook tower is available to handle 1.57m standard containers. A hydraulic container locking system is standard specification. Operation behind a truck tractor will require an electric remote control system.
