The temperature sensor with firmly welded clamp connection is particularly designed for applications in the food and beverage industry. This includes the temperature measurement of beverages, dairy products or pasty food. The sensor is therefore made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) with an industry-specific surface finish of the thermowell of Ra ≤0.8 μm. It complies with FDA and EC1935/2004 regulations. The OPTITEMP TRA-C65 can be used for temperature measurement of gases, liquids and vapours up to +200°C / +390°F. The compact temperature sensor features high reliability and excellent measurement stability. Its reduced sensor tip guarantees quick response time and high measurement accuracy, even with short installation length. The hygienic temperature sensor is resistant to cleaning agents used in CIP and SIP procedures. It is also available in a version for high-pressure jet cleaning with hot water (IP69).
