The centrifugal surface finishing machine, when it is compared to the conventional vibratory system of finishing, is up to 30 times faster. The system comprises of a centrally located disc which spins, creating a turbulence within the chamber of the machine, effectively creating a g force, thus imparting this on both media and components. The difference in the weight of both the media and component results in a rubbing action at high speed, thus the overall finishing cycle is reduced.
These machines are very popular in finishing items such as jewelry, precision and computer components, and can be used to produce a high polish as well as normal finishes
