Description

The KVH-Valves are especially designed to fully meet the stringent requirements as an Emergency Shut Down Device (ESD) for Gas Turbine installations. The KVH ensures first-class in terms of premium tightness and shortest closing time ever – the KVH-Valves reacts significantly lower than 1 second. Applications: Thermal Power Plants, Gas Turbines & Gas Compressor Units, Steelworks, Refineries & Petrochemical Plants, Biogas & Landfill Gas, Pipeline & Gas Distribution Systems, Industrial Combustion YOUR BENEFITS Closing time < 1 second High safety level within ESD operation through zero leakage Pressure balanced design for switching at high differential pressures Heavy duty design for highest number of operating cycles igh-performance valve with extended service life H2-ready OPERATION DETAILS The linear movement of the valve stem is generated by a strong pneumatic actuator which is energized by a solenoid valve. The automatic forced quick-closing function – in less than 1 second – is ensured by a heavy-duty spring. The valve plug is equipped with a special soft sealing element ensuring premium tightness (leakage rate A acc. EN 12266-1).
