Description

QUICK-CLOSING VALVE IN DOUBLE SEAT DESIGN TYPE KVII/FD Being part of the proven KÜHME high-performance valve series for industrial applications, the KÜHME valve type KVII/FD in angle design with double-seat feature is used in any application area for which the quick and safe shut-off of low calorific gaseous fuels such as, e.g., coke oven gas is required. The electro-pneumatically controlled quick-closing valve sets standards for lifetime and reliability even in most demanding applications. Applications: Thermal Power Plants, Steelworks YOUR BENEFITS Closing time < 1 second High safety level through zero leakage Heavy duty design for high amount of operating cycles High-performance valve with a long service lifetime OPERATION DETAILS The quick-closing valve is actuated by a pneumatic actuator with a solenoid control valve. Automatic quick-closing is carried out by means of spring force in less than 1 second. The soft seal at the valve cone guarantees absolute tightness (leakage rate A in acc. with EN 12266-1).
