Sanders featuring at least one cross belt unit, either inside or outside of the machine body. These machines are mainly used for lacquer/high-gloss work or the sanding of cross veneered surfaces.
Cross Belt Unit H
The cross belt unit located at the machine outlet, also known as high gloss unit, is mainly used for intermediate lacquer sanding up to high gloss work. Thanks to decades of experience and constant development the high gloss unit features a wide array of features that make it the first choice of surface specialists with highest demands.
The only 22mm (0.85 inch) thin segments in the segmented pad are electronically controlled by one of the most advanced softwares in the industry. In order to prevent rounded or damaged corners the sanding pressure can be precisely controlled for each workpiece edge (front/back, left/right). The belt speeds for the sanding belt as well as the chevron sanding belt conveyor can be individually adjusted in order to control sanding trace length. Another unique feature is the automatic machanical lowering and raising of the whole sanding unit which prevents the well known issue of workpieces crashing with the slightly bulged (due to humidity) sanding belt.
Cross Belt Unit X
The cross belt unit X is located either within the machine body somewhere between the other sanding units or at the machine entrance. Just like the H unit it is meant to supplement our oblique sanding technology in order to create high end surfaces.
