The SideWinder from Kurt is a vise that mounts vertically to the back of any Kurt industry-standard 6” vise with an integral bracket. The bracket is provided with a stabilization leg. This can be mounted to the table using the movable end of the vise, and a workstop for positioning the height of the part. The unit is especially designed for doing 2nd op work, holding the part vertically rather than horizontally. The unit ensures a time-saving set up for 2nd op vertical work. The machining can be made on both vises with similar setup. The vise is at an elevated position, which provides extended reach machining. It is also provided with AngLock design.
