Autoclave sterilization is the process of sterilization by saturated steam under pressure. Especially in the fields of medicine, microbiological research and testing materials, materials and reusable instrumentation and good thermal stability are sterilized using steam sterilizers.
The autoclave sterilization is one of the most important processes for the elimination of germs. The sterilization by saturated autoclave steamunder pressure is currently the safest method of sterilization. The steam condenses on the surface of the instrument to be sterilized, giving energy which causes irreversible damage to the microorganisms.
