Autoclave sterilization is the process of sterilization by saturated steam under pressure. Especially in the fields of medicine, microbiological research and testing materials, materials and reusable instrumentation and good thermal stability are sterilized using steam sterilizers. The autoclave sterilization is one of the most important processes for the elimination of germs. The sterilization by saturated autoclave steamunder pressure is currently the safest method of sterilization. The steam condenses on the surface of the instrument to be sterilized, giving energy which causes irreversible damage to the microorganisms. De Lama’s steam sterilizers are cabin block and are used for treatment of laboratory materials belonging to the pharmaceutical industry, institutes and research centers, virology and microbiology laboratories, sanitary/ hospital and food fields and for the specific treatment of highly pathogenic (HP) risk factor materials and for wastes coming from contagious disease wards. The autoclave steam sterilization can be used for operations even by air/steam mixture (DLV CAB-HP type) for specific treatment of wastes and highly pathogenic materials (e.g.. production of vaccines/serums, diagnostic and biotechnological products, materials coming from contagious disease areas).
