Description

De Lama S.p.A.‘s Control Systems are based on a distributed logic architecture composed of a Supervisor (PC) and a Programmable Controller(PLC). The supervisor is a PC for industrial application. The Programmable Controller is an Industrial PLC or a PLC specially designed type for pharmaceutical applications. The PC mainly allows the Human/Machine Interface (HMI), the data storage and the cycles preparation. The PLC autonomously manages the cycle execution During the cycle the PC provides for the continuous reading of the process parameters from the PLC to allow data visualization and storage (SCADAfunctions). The PC and PLC S/W were designed following the Object Oriented Architecture (OOA) which assures the correct data interaction between the components of the whole S/W. The open H/W and S/W architecture allows an easy upgrading and expansion of the system (e.g. network capability from both PC).
