A low cost precision drop tester, the PDT 80M consists of a drop leaf assembly housed in a cast aluminum structure.
The drop leaf housing is supported by a 3" (76 mm) diameter chrome-plated steel guide rod that is mounted to the 0.5" (13 mm) thick steel base plate.
A user can manually adjust the drop height by moving the drop leaf housing up or down as required and locking it in place. The weight of the drop tester is counterbalanced so changing drop heights is very easy. The pre-drilled steel guide rod provides:
• 1" (25 mm) incremental drop height adjustment from 12 - 36" (305 - 915 mm)
• 2" (50.8 mm) increments from 36 - 42" (915 - 1070 mm)
• 6" (152 mm) increments from 35 - 71" (889 - 1800 mm).
A drop test is safely and efficiently initiated using a footswitch. Both the power switch and power indicator are easily accessible to the operator, located on the side of the drop leaf housing.
Features highlights
