Our most popular precision drop tester, with handheld controller and electric hoist for drop testing of specimen of upto 177 lbs (80 kgs) from heights of 1-72 in (2.5-183 cm). The PDT 80 is easy to use and can be used for a wide variety of drop testing requirements, including flat, edge and corner drop tests. With a drop height range from as low as 1 in (2.5 cm) to 72 in (183 cm), plus optional test fixtures and flexible base plate choices, it is a versatile and very popular precision drop tester. Straightforward and intuitive controls enable operators to easily adjust drop heights and reset the platform, enabling safe and efficient testing. The PDT 80 delivers precision and repeatability, saving time and manual effort. Lansmont also offer test fixtures, extended platen, slotted and oversized base plates, as well as customised test heights to meet your precise testing requirements. The Lansmont PDT 80 is our most popular model of drop tester and is used for a wide range of drop testing requirements. Its high-velocity pneumatic cylinder, precision cam design and unique braking system delivers extremely accurate flat drop testing exceeding key industry standards, such as ASTM D5276. We test and verify every drop tester to ensure its flatness accuracy is within ±2 degrees. Drop platform The drop platform, also known as a 'drop leaf', is where the product or package to be tested is placed.
