FiberStar 8600 Series micro-welding laser systems are fast, efficient, portable, fiber laser engines with fiber optic attachment for high-speed welding and cutting applications. Ideal for non-contact laser welding processes which join two similar or certain dissimilar metals together. FiberStar laser welding systems can produce both laser spot welds (single pulse) and laser seam welds (multi-pulse overlapping spots including hermetically sound laser seams), and continuous wave (CW) output. FiberStar 8600 Series Systems offer state-of-the-art laser resonator technology which provides high peak power, optimal performance & throughput, higher up-time, enhanced electrical efficiency, and a space saving air cooled design. Solid state diodes provide instantaneous power with no “warm up time” required. The laser source is a permanently sealed design that protects against dust and dirt, does not require adjustment, has no consumable parts, and requires no maintenance.
