Metrology's Digital Vickers Hardness Testers are generally utilized for identification applications of Vickers hardness values of steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, and treated metal surface layers. These apparatuses are integrated with LCD screens (menu-operated) that display test methods, test forces, and hardness value lengths. Conversion functions to other hardness scales are possible.
The Testers are also incorporated with printers, RS-232C data outputs, and optical systems and illumination systems. Video measurement systems are optional, and are available upon request. They are generally utilized in several fields of application, including thin plates, metallic foils, and plating.
Metrology's Digital Vickers Hardness Testers come in a wide range of model configurations. This includes the HV-10D, the HV-30D, and the HV-50D. Each of the models sports respective testing loads (Kgf), load control capabilities, (loading/dwell/unloading), and dwell times (0 to 60 s).
