Metrology's Digital Vickers Hardness Testers are generally utilized for identification of Vickers hardness values of steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, and treated metal surface layers. These apparatuses are integrated with LCD screens (menu-operated) that display test methods, test forces, and hardness value lengths. Conversion functions to other hardness scales are possible. The Testers are also incorporated with printers, RS-232C data outputs, and optical systems and illumination systems. Video measurement systems are optional, and are available upon request. Metrology's Digital Vickers Hardness Testers come in a wide range of model configurations. This includes the HV-5DM, the HV-10DM, the HV-30DM, and the HV-50DM. Each of the models sports respective testing loads (Kgf), load control capabilities, (loading/dwell/unloading), and dwell times (0 to 60 s).
