The Micro-Vickers Hardness tester mode l HV-1000M can determine the Vickers hardness of steel , ceramics, non-ferrous metals and treated layers of metal surfaces. It can also determine the hardness grades of carburized, hardened and nitrided metal layers. Finally it can determine the Vickers hardness of super thin and micro parts.
It is usually used for IC wafers, steels, non-ferrous metals, gem, agate, glass, ceramics, metal foils, thin plastic, plating, surface layers coating, and laminated metals.
This device has a motorized turret as well as a fully automated dwell, load and unloading control. It comes with an integrated thermal printer. Optionally, it can be delivered with 2kg load option and CCD video measurement system.
The standard testing loads are 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1000 gf (0.098, 0.245, 0.49, 0.98, 1.96, 2.94, 4.9 and 9.8 N). It covers the testing range from 8 HV to 2900 HV. The dwell time is adjustable between 0 s and 60 s. The microscope magnification is 10 times when observing and 40 times when measuring. The digital eyepiece provided has the magnification of 10x. The X-Y anvil is 100 mm x 100 mm with travel of 25 mm x 25 mm and the resolution of 2 um.
The maximum height of the specimen tested is 90 mm and the instrument throat is 95 mm. The 0.5/LCD display shows the dwell time and the hardness value and the illumination is carried out through the adjustable LED. The entire device has dimensions of 406 mm x 290 mm x 480 mm and the net weight of 30 kg. The gross weight is 40 kg and packed dimensions are 530 mm x 395 mm x 730 mm.
The power supply used is AC 220 V 50 Hz and the device meets ASTM E384, GB/T 4340.2 and EN-ISO 6507 standards.
