Description

The Digital Micro-Vickers Hardness Tester model HV-1000MD is used in the determination of Vickers hardness for a wide range of materials. It can be used in applications with steels, IC wafers, non-ferrous metals, thin plastic, metallic foils, plating, coating, surface layers, laminated metals, glass, ceramics, agate and gem. It can be used to determine depth and gradient of carburized and flame hardened layers with suitability for micro and super thin parts. It consists of a motorized turret with fully automated load, dwell and unloading control. It is equipped with a large LCD screen with a built in mini printer. It can be coupled with an optional CCD video measurement system. Other features include a digital eyepiece with 10X magnification, adjustable LED illumination with magnification of the microscope possible up to 10X for observation and 40X for measurement. It has a testing range of 8HV-2900HV suitable for testing loads of 10-1000 (200gf optional) and N: 0.098-9.8. It supports max. height of specimen of 90mm with 95mm instrument throat with resolution of 2um.
