Our line of TEFC, Severe Duty, Three-phase AC motors provide both premium energy-efficiency and outstanding performance. They meet the energy efficiency requirements of the United States and Canada for general-purpose industrial motors as well as meeting the Premium motor efficiency levels. Applications: Designed specifically to meet severe duty environments that you may find in applications such as chemical plants, foundries, pulp and paper mills, waste management facilities, refineries, above ground mines or other applications that demand corrosion protection for long motor life and dependability. Features Include: Industry leading 1.15 service factor – some motors rated at 1.25 S.F. Superior speed-torque curves - not only do these motors meet all NEMA Design B requirements, in most cases they also have Design C starting torques. Two levels of Energy efficiency levels - Premium and EPAct Inverter rated Full cast iron construction Premium Class F Plus insulation system (rated at 160°C vs. 155°C) Surpassed 300 hours in salt fog test with no degradation.
