Description
This silentblock can be loaded in compression or shear, or a combination of both (never traction) for protection from severe vibrations, shocks and noises.
Antivibration Dampers consisting of two parallel metal plates bonded to a cylinder shaped rubber inset and of one threaded stud-one threaded insetHigh quality natural rubber compounds are employed to produce this silentblock series, and the mountings should not be exposed to hydrocarbons.
The mechanical characteristics of this cylindrical damper can differ due to the hardness tolerances of the elastomers.
