These brushes are varied for many different uses: not only for cleaning of tubes, gratings, sleeves and cylinders. Interior brushes regulate current velocity in tubing systems. They are similar to the double spiral tube brushes for deburring cross drillings etc. On these pages are shown standard brushes, single spiral having two drilling wires and the double spiral having four.
Sleeve Brushes
Sleeve brushes have a double spiral and are particularly stable types of tube brushes whose trimming is cut to a conical point. Used in machines they are beneficial for cleaning the sleeves (internal threads) of containers, e.g. after galvanisation.
Recommendation for users:
When using twisted brushes on machines please use only in a clockwise running direction. Failure to do so may cause the brush wire to open up.
Brushes with doublespiral
Brushes with a double spiral are mainly used for the treatment of larger diameters or for the treatment of hard materials. A double spiral is more stable and has a higher resistance against untwisting. Hence the brushes can be exposed to higher loads.
