About PTS20 Rotary Positioner
One of our Rotary Positioner Series PTS20 is a two-axis, Elevation over Azimuth unit that can be used for positioning heavy antennas or a wide variety of electro-optical devices.
A PTS20 rotary positioner can withstand dynamic loads resulting from wind action as well as static forces due to payloads. It can perform a continuous operation by delivering maximum torque, up to around 207 Nm at a speed of 27 deg/sec. In order words, the positioner can rotate an unbalanced payload (top-mount, assuming the mass center is on the top surface of tilt table) with a mass of 159 kg. Please note that we provide this speed data in “loaded” condition to give an idea about our torque and speed characteristics.
Our PTS20 Series Positioners have positioning accuracy and repeatability within the range of ±0,02 degrees. These characteristics make them useful in long-distance positioning. Besides, it should be taken into account that our PTS20 Series positioners are designed and manufactured to provide smooth operation, longevity, and reliability. Thus, they satisfy Military Grade Standards MIL-STD-810F Tests like operating and storage temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, rain, and icing & freezing for validation in working in harsh environments.
