Overview
When azimuth over elevation positioners are considered, our AZL100 series can be given as an example. It is used as antenna positioners mostly but is also suitable for other positioning purposes, such as sensor positioning, factory automation, R&D applications, etc. These series are robust and able to operate in outdoor conditions continuously. AZL100 series can resist dynamic loads resulting from wind action additionally static forces due to payloads.
Mainly, AZL100 Series are two-axis, AZ/EL type, azimuth over elevation positioners, typically able to rotate heavier and wider antennas. The series can perform a steady operation by delivering a torque of 828 Nm at a speed of 6.8 deg/sec or 414 Nm at 13.5 deg/sec depending on their model. In other words, these positioners can rotate an unbalanced payload (top-mount, assuming the mass center is on the top surface of the azimuth rotation table) with a mass of 400 kg or 200 kg around their elevation axes. Please note that we provide this speed data in “loaded” condition to give an idea about our torque and speed characteristics.
Our AZL100 Series have positioning accuracy and repeatability within the range of ±0,02 degrees. They also satisfy Military Grade Standards MIL-STD-810F Tests like operating and storage temperature, humidity, rain, and icing & freezing.
