The type XS valve position monitor system offers IP.68 protection for valve / actuator monitoring applications sub-sea. Incorporating features that allow diver personnel to install, monitor and maintain the valve assembly with the minimum of fuss, the units dual function position monitoring system is available with mounting arrangements that allow compactattachment to both quarter-turn and linear process valves. 316SS stainless steel enclosure for superior corrosion protection. ● IP.68 protection and suitable for sub-sea depths up to 1000 metres (increased depths available on request). ● Versions available providing compatibility for Ex ia intrinsic safety hazardous area applications. ● Different electrical functions available including reed type proximity switches, inductive proximity sensors and 4 to 20mA feedback transmitters. ● Open / Closed position indicator providing excellent viewability but does not compromise accessibility or space requirements. ● Compact design provides considerable space saving over similar equipment without compromising the ease of installation or maintenance. ● Simple mounting arrangements allow quick and secure mounting to many types of actuators. ● Position and orientation ensured by dowel pins which only allow one way installation.
