The adjustable collar from STAS is produced in high-strength alloy steel with a superior finish. This is a thermal cut part without load bearing welds, offering a safety factor of 5. When the sling is not loaded, the rope runs freely in the adjustable collar. For a balanced lift, simply raise the lifting hook above the centre of gravity of the load being lifted, and set the strands to the required length. As soon as the sling is at tension, the rope is blocked. The adjustable collar comes with an EC declaration and is readily available. In addition, it has legible marking and an individual traceability code.
